Freedom Hill Horse Rescue extends a grateful thank you to the ASPCA for the awarded Grant for the Rehabilitation and Training Costs for Neglected/Abandoned Mustangs Seizure. Generous grants like this help the Rescue get training for the wonderful and deserving horses to prepare them for their forever homes. Thank you ASPCA and everyone who helped make the grant possible.

Some of our kids have found their forever homes!!! Liberty (Libby), Rhett, Maverick and Brooke have found their new families! We are so happy for them.
Takoda still awaits her new family to find her. She has come along wonderfully in her training, but is still "green" and needs her special someone(s) to be able to continue bringing her along.

Takoda has received weeks of professional training and is being ridden twice a week by our riding team. She's coming along very well. Our Mustangs gals are going to make some lucky people very happy. Click HERE to see more information and new photos.

Lori Harrington is acting as Educational Director. Lori is our Vice President and has been a long time Girl Scout Troop Leader. She is familiar with the needs of Childrens groups and can help your children learn about The World of Horse Rescue. If you have a Brownie, 4H, Girl Scout, Boy Scout or Pony Club group, we will customize our program to fit the needs of your children and help them earn badges or community service hours. We also provide opportunities for children that are not in groups to earn community service hours. You can reach Lori via email at

Sunny was in a kill pen in ND and now lives with her adopter in VA. We can't save them all but we change the lives of the ones we do save.
